The key to a successful optimization begins with interviewing you, our client, about your business, your industry, your target market, and your audience. It is essential that we are as familiar with your business as possible. Without this knowledge the quality of the optimization is inhibited and will reduce our ultimate success.
KEY TERM BRAINSTORMING
We then ask you and your team to provide a list of key terms that you believe your potential customers would use in searching for your business on search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing and others.
KEY TERM RESEARCH
Utilizing state-of-the-art software we take your key term brainstormer list and analyze each key term for competition, relevancy, and frequency. This is where we essentially determine how it measures up to the search engine algorithms. We will work with you to refine the most effective terms for the best results.
We remove key terms with zero searches in any given month and terms too general and/or competitive to garner any effective results. However, there may be key terms in this “discharged” list that your company desires to optimize for; in that instance, we seek ways to make these terms more effective by combining them with other relevant terms or geographical terms … and sometimes even both! The key term “real estate” is simply too broad and too competitive to garner successful results. ”Real estate development” is certainly better and “Portland real estate development” will likely garner the best results.
